ULTRA Industrial Wireless Voltage Detection - 50 VDC with Solar Power (900 MHz)

The ULTRA Industrial Voltage Detector - 50 VDC detects the presence or absence of electricity. It is intended for use on battery or other DC sources, up to 50 Volts. Not intended for use with AC Voltages. It is perfect for batteries, adapters, solar equipment, vehicles or machinery, and any other electrical appliance monitoring. The sensor triggers on voltage presence to voltage Absence and vice versa. The data is displayed as "Voltage Detected" or "No Voltage".

ULTRA sensors offer 3 to 4 times the range of standard sensor platforms, extending non-line-of-sight reach to an exceptional 1,200+ feet through walls (12-14 walls typical). Using Frequency-hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) also allows ULTRA sensors to have better interference immunity from other wireless devices.

Superior power management provides ULTRA sensors with almost twice the battery life of E2E’s standard wireless sensors.

  • Coin cell sensors typically last 3+ years.
  • AA and Industrial sensors typically last up to 12+ years.
ULTRA products employ E2E's Encrypted RF Security (256-bit Diffie Hellman key exchange and AES-128 CBC encryption for all sensor data messages), so security is maintained at all communication points from sensor to gateway, gateway to software, then back again.

Integrated on-board data storage allows ULTRA sensors to store data messages if communication to a wireless gateway is disrupted (power outage, Internet outage, or out of range). Messages that can’t be delivered will be time-stamped and stored in memory (up to the last 512 messages) until communication with the gateway is restored, at which point the messages will all be transmitted.

Over-the-air updates allow ULTRA products to be updated remotely if new fixes or features become available.

E2E ULTRA Industrial Sensors come in an IP65, NEMA 4X, CE rated, sealed, and weatherproof enclosure. They are powered by a single, replaceable, Industrial grade 3.6 V battery (included).

An optional solar powered version is also available. The solar powered version includes a Lithium Iron Phosphate rechargeable battery in conjunction with a solar power cell to keep the battery charged and at optimal capacity. If there is no light present at the solar cell, the battery alone could continue to power the sensor for up to 8-10 years.
